Park Information
Tallman Mountain State Park comprises wooded country on the easterly slope of the Palisades uplands overlooking the Hudson and Piermont Marsh, which lies between the river and the slope. The marsh is part of the Hudson River National Estuarine Research Reserve. The park operates as a day-use area, offering a running track, tennis courts, playfield, cross country skiing, a walking trail, hiking and picnic areas. A parking fee of $6.00 per vehicle is charged from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

The park is open year round from 8 AM until sunset. Restrooms are available throughout the park from April to November.

Visitors to Tallman can enjoy several shaded picnic areas, all of which are equipped with tables and charcoal grills.
The Tallman Miniature Golf Course is the newest addition to the park providing a family friendly activity suitable for all ages.
The Tallman Mountain Pool has reopened with the help of the Tallman Beach & Pool Club. Day and season passes are available and there are regular events like live music scheduled at the Pool. For more information, please visit: Tallman Beach and Pool Club.
Two north-south trails extend the length of the parkā€”the Long Path and the Tallman Bike Path. These two trails may be combined to make loop hikes from 2.5 to 5 miles and offer excellent views of the Hudson River Valley.
Also in Tallman is the 1,000-acre Piermont Marsh, one of four coastal wetlands making up the Hudson River Reserve.
Tallman is a perfect place to ride your bicycle.
Dogs only, must be muzzled and on a leash, not more than 6 feet; not allowed in buildings.
