Lake Tiorati

FROM THE SOUTH:

Via the Palisades Interstate Parkway (seasonal): George Washington Bridge or Tappan Zee Bridge to Palisades Parkway North to Exit 16 (Lake Welch Drive). Take first right to Tiorati Brook Road. Follow Tiorati Brook Road about 3 miles to Tiorati Circle. Take second right off circle on to Arden Valley Road then first left into parking lot and beach.

Note: Lake Welch Drive is closed for the winter.

Alternate From the Palisades Interstate Parkway: George Washington Bridge or Tappan Zee Bridge to Palisades Parkway North to Exit 18 (left exit). Take third right off Queensboro traffic circle onto Seven Lakes Drive (toward Sebago and Sloatsburg) to Tiorati traffic circle. Take first right off circle onto Arden Valley Road then first left into parking lot.

Via I-87/287: Take 287 North to the NYS Thruway. Take the Thruway northwest for about 1.4 miles to Route 17 north. take Route 17 north to Seven Lakes Drive (first light in Sloatsburg). Turn right onto Seven Lakes Drive. Travel for approximately 10 miles to Tiorati traffic circle. Take third right off circle onto Arden Valley Road then first left into parking lot.

Via the Garden State Parkway: Take the Garden State Parkway North to the last exit (I-87/287/NYS Thruway). Take the NYS Thruway east/south to Exit 13N. Take the Palisades Interstate Parkway north to Exit 16, Lake Welch Drive (if open). Follow directions above into Harriman State Park.

From Northern New Jersey: Take Route 17 north to Sloatsburg. At the sign, make a right turn onto Seven Lakes Drive and follow to Tiorati Beach.
